To be built along vaigai river, crossing the existing railway bridge, this bridge has been
Proposed to ease the traffic flowing between madurai and dindugal, while avoiding waiting at the level crossing.
The bridge is being built on open foundation and the superstructure consists of 27 spans of 25.5m each. Each span
Consists of 4 nos. Of pre-stressed concrete "i" girders. The approaches of the bridges are about 100m each
